Two lunches, 1200 euros, reacts to the Chairman of Entrance: I spent it, but not as reported.

Both lunches are laid in the same restaurant, and the opposition has called them abuse of public money.

He said that “800 euros have been earmarked for the footnote of the 23rd anniversary of the Pacific Battle and the organising of a dinner for KLA veterans in the Entrance Community, while the amount of 400 euros has been earmarked for the promotion of Banush Imer's book, given the importance of such a book”.

“These two sums are separated from the money finances for the mayor, as the finance office has found no other way of paying according to the specific budgetary codes”, he added.

The news at the portal Time with the title "The Chief of Change spent 1,200 euros on two official lunches is completely untrue.

For the sake of public opinion, I want to make some clarifications.

Since I've received the government mandate as mayor of the municipality, I've made zero expenses for formal lunch and dinner. My constant caution has been directed at the maximum savings of public money, which is my personal and political principle.

Regarding the values highlighted in the above-mentioned news, which have been misinterpreted, I explain that on December 14th, 800 euros have been earmarked for marking the 23rd anniversary of the Battle of Pristina and organising a dinner for KLA veterans in the Investment Community, while the 400 euro amount has been earmarked for the promotion of Banush Imer's Book of Research, given the importance that such a book represents. So these are the two organizations where those expenses are dedicated.

These two sums are separated from the front finances for the mayor, as the finance office has not found another way of paying according to the budgetary codes.
