LDK's PDK do not vote international agreement on social assistance system reform

The international agreement between the Government of Kosovo and the International Development Association for the Kosovo Social Assistance System reform project has failed again.

PDK and LDK deputies voted against, while only 63 deputies were pro.

Similarly, on behalf of the Government, MKRS Minister Hajrula Ceku presented this agreement, said the same is worth 47m euros and is of particular importance.

This project has only been discussed once, however, with opposition from the opposition for the first time in our country, an international agreement has not been ratified in the Assembly. Considering the particular importance of this agreement to reform the social scheme in Kosovo, today we are again proceeding the draft law on ratification of the “Project of Social Assistance System Reform in Kosovo”, he said.

The same agreement had failed to be approved in the Assembly months earlier. /
