According to Kurti, official Belgrade has proven it is not interested in reaching agreement.
I have not been following the latest process of license talks, but I believe that mediator Lajcak will explain which side was not constructive. I have no dilemma. I know our negotiator, Besnik Bislimi, has been both constructive and creative, but Belgrade clearly is interested in having a” agreement.
“It is up to the mediator, to explain why specifically the agreement was not reached, which has been quite close and Lajcak has committed to a lot of”, the government's chief said. RTK.
On the other hand, he has indicated that Serbia has increased aggression against Kosovo because of the latter's successes.
Serbia's “president is increasing aggression against Kosovo, and I believe it has to do with Kosovo's success. We're making progress in all fields, and that's hindering him. And, it's about fighting in Ukraine, because Serbia is taking sides with military aggression”, Kurti has said.
Today's dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia's top negotiators, Besnik Bislimi and Petar Petkovovic, in Brussels, has ended without agreement on plates.
EU dialogue representative Miroslav Lajcak has announced that no agreement has been reached at today's meeting on the vehicle license plates issue.
“They just completed today's meetings of chief negotiators in Brussels. The results are mixed. Unfortunately, no agreement was reached on license plates, but we have made progress on other issues including energy. The work will continue”, Lajcak wrote on the social Twitter network.
