As the Prime Minister reports, Kurti then visited St. George Cathedral, where Fan Noley served as archbishop and the library in which books, manuscripts, and other items are preserved.
“In the cathedral, Prime Minister Kurti has met with the Albanian-American community and representatives of the Albanian association “Vatra”, one of the founders of which was Fan Noli, in honour of whose image he has held a word of the case. The prime minister has said that in St George's Cathedral, Fan Noley held for the first time an Albanian-language Mass in Boston, after being handed over priest in March 1908, four years before Albania's proclamation of independence in 1912”, it is said in the communiqué.
