Kurt in 2019: Teachers are right because they are both parents, the government has faults

During yesterday's United Trade Union of Education, Science and Culture, together with the Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo, have held a protest before the government, approval of the Law of wages, implementation of the Law on Health Insurance, and the lifting of the work experience of full contributing retirement, were among the main requirements of teachers in the protest held in Pristina.
About this protest, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has not yet made a reaction, even though unions have warned the first government that, if the demands are not met, there will be a general strike.
On the other hand, a few years ago, correctly in 2019, when the government of that time faced union demands, Kurti, had come to the aid of teachers, harshly criticising the government, which he said did not value public servants but political servants.
The most difficult situation than the two sides are wrong about is where both sides are right. Parents are concerned that their children are being taught, while teachers are concerned that they are leaving with low wages. Paradox comes from reducing context. Contradictation is false, not because teachers are parents, but parents also teach children, but because the third side is truth: government. It values political servants rather than public servants. It wants to ease some of the teachers' poverty so it doesn't deal with inequality over them”, the government said.
He added, that the solution was for teachers to continue the strike on the condition that they put emphasis on reducing government court wages.
“What is the solution? Teachers will continue the strike on the condition that they stress reducing government court salaries as parents continue their opposition on condition that they stress the growth of quality in education. Feelings of poverty do not replace honesty for equality. And, as our people say, in vain those who have been filled with ban”, ended Kurt in a post in 2019.
While today, when the government is again facing protests and warnings from the SBASK and BSPK, Kurti, has not only shown willingness to discuss with union leaders, but also dropped criticism in their direction.
Here we recall the case when the first of the government, in one word during a parliamentary session, had not hesitated to declare that, according to Kurti, there is a need to be changes in union leaders, including exactly the SBASK that he once stood by.
Against this Kurt statement, it certainly has not been delayed by the SBASK. The secretary of this union, Ymer Ymer, for Kurti's statement, had said there were empty “words”.
“Unions are independents who are elected in its members, so they're empty words of the prime minister because it can't affect, at least I'm talking about SBASK”, Ymer said.
The criticisms in the direction of Kurti have not been missed even during yesterday's protest, where Jasharaj sent a message to Kurti telling him to return to Kosovo and not stay in America.
He even added that if there is reflection from the government then there could be a general strike.
On the contrary, after this protest, there will be even more serious actions, which we do not love, but you seem to love them. The silence of the government means they know we're right. We want the Laws of the Gentiles, but not the Law which a man does to us, but we also do it. Either we're gonna talk, or we're gonna go on general strike”, Jasharaj declared.
What remains to be seen is whether, the Kurti, who is on a visit to the United States, after his return, will create a more suitable environment with the negotiation unions, thus creating conditions for a government agreement and trade unions. /Lajmi.net/
