The images were recorded by a boat on the surface of the water from which the unfortunate man's son and wife were shooting.
The 31-year-old Dutch tourist is seen getting ready to jump into the water from at least 30m high Thursday in the Malgras Islands.
But courageous action ended badly as the man realized that by his jump, he could pass the rocky space in front of the water and smash back into the stones before falling into the sea.
Thunder sounds are heard by both man and those recording.
