North Korean leader Kim Jong sent a message of congratulations to President Vladimir Putin for Russia's Victory Day, expressing “the solidarity established by his country's” with Moscow, reports the KCNA Korean news agency.
In his letter sent on May 9th, Kim expressed “of solidarity committed to the cause of the Russian people to eradicate political and military threat and blackmail from hostile forces”.
North Korean leader also “voiced confidence that strategic and traditional relations of friendship between the two countries will develop steadily”.
North Korea has recently emphasised its close ties with Russia and has publicly supported Moscow for its invasion in Ukraine.
In February, she blamed the conflict in Ukraine on “hegemonist policies” of the United States and the West.
