Dear citizens of Switzerland,

During the summer season most of you spend vacations in your native country, so it's a season with an increase in work volume in our consulates that provide services to supply with various documents, such as passports, notebooks, certificates, etc.

In order to wait for the application to be smaller, it is recommended that application for some of the documents be made earlier, before the area when demand for these services is smaller.

So as information that can help you in this regard is:

Application for passport replication can be done by 1 year before the document's expiration deadline,

Certificates from the civil registry have terms of use for up to six months,

The time to use navigation is 30 days.
