Today, no humanitarian corridors for civilians stranded in the cities and the Azovstal steel factory, Marioupol, according to CNN.
Both Russia and Ukraine have said evacuations must continue on Saturday. At least 100 civilians including children are still blocking underground bunkers. About 50 civilians were evacuated from the factory late Friday.
The evacuation of civilians is being mediated by the United Nations and the Red Cross. Ukraine's deputy prime minister, Iryna Vereschuk, said she hopes for opening a humanitarian corridor for civilians in Mariupol.
The fate of hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers left stranded in the steel factory is still unknown.
Russia has repeatedly said they can leave only if they hand over their weapons. /abcnews. al
