Thousands of citizens from all over the country, but also other Albanian lands, seven years ago, have bid their last farewell to eight of the nine Kosovars killed in Kumanovo, Macedonia.
Following the KLA's hosts and a memorial academy, uniformed boys have been sent to the last residence, to the Witnesses' cemetery complex in Pristina, the troops of Xhafer Zymber, Mirsad Ndjetaj, Valon Kabashi, Turgaj Gashi, Samid Kastriot, Hysen Rushiti, Fatlumsela and Arben Wright.
From the Organising Council, in the composition of war-free associations, family members and other personalities, the fallen in Kumanovo during a conflict with Macedonian police on 9 May and 10 May have been honoured as martyrs. In addition to some deputies from the Vetevendosje and AAK Movement, none of the highest state institutions has been for either amazhe or a funeral organised in the capital.
As the burial was held at 17.00 p.m. in the presence of thousands of citizens from all over Kosovo, in advance in the sports hall “1 October” had been held views for more than an hour, while a memorial academy was held.
Hundreds of citizens have paid their respects near coffins, which were covered with national flags. Veterans of the former Kosovo Liberation Army dressed in the former KLA uniform stood by the coffins.
In their hands they carried photos of those killed in Kumanovo, photos of these mounted, under which the latter appeared to have been soldiers of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
In fact, some of them have been in the KLA, were also part of the UCPM in the Presevo Valley, but in 2001 also part of the National Liberation Army in Macedonia.
Meanwhile, nineteen Kosovars are being held in Skopje's Shutka detention centre, who have been arrested during the Macedonian police action at “Trima's sector” in Kumanovo.
