In contrast with Kurti, says Jashari, other prime ministers felt bad mentioning the strike

SBASK Chairman Nundman Jashari has again accused Prime Minister Albin Kurti of running out of dialogue with the education union, but others, to listen to and meet their demands. Yasar, he's been saying that with all the preliminary governments since 2014, there were clashes, but with the Kurti II government, the elites cannot fit in.

By the time I was mayor, in 2014, we were confronted by all governments. That's what we've been going through because, the prime ministers and the governments they created felt bad when we mentioned strikes”.

We had continued meetings, when the prime minister had no time, and we understood because he was prime minister of a state, we met with the responsible ministries, we discussed. And even on strike, I mean three weeks strike. strike was present, but there was constant dialogue. The evil that has surprised us and we haven't expected, is that in the Kurti II government, there has been a total lack of dialogue”, he said in Klan Kosova.

” We can mention within the year, very rare meetings. BSPK's chairman, Hykoli, has recently had a meeting with the prime minister two weeks ago and we've been happy that the meeting took place. We've had all this time on November 30th, a meeting with Minister Svechla. With Minister Nagavci, we have meetings, but with him we talk about matters in education, because it neither has the competencies nor the budgetary opportunity to meet our demands”.

He claims that after May 20th, there will be a definite answer to how they will react to government decisions at the helm with Albin Kurti, since, as he says, even if there were controversial dialogue, there would be results.

If we had a dialogue, whether good or bad or even controversial, we would have the information officially and tell membership. We're trying to open space to the government, not because the Kurti government is now, but because the school year in the Republic of Kosovo we've lost in a month's delay, and every new blow, every new loss would have a bad effect on students”.

He even had a direct message for the government executive, whose director is currently in Switzerland.

If the Kurti government still feels comfortable and it becomes as if nothing is happening, and still keeps the doors closed, and with us there are other unions, and after May 20, I don't know which response I will give to the honorable media. Because I'm afraid membership will insist on”.

We're doing our best not to come to the general strike. Because it hurts those who have no guilt, and these are our students, the children of Kosovo. The only blame for this is the Kurti Government, who lacks dialogue”.

” Kurti must know that there are unions in Kosovo, and that those unions represent employees in the responsible sectors. The only blame is the government. Why don't you sit with us? Let's make a choice for the extra 100 euros. Because I'm saying it and I always said it: The Kosovo government, if it wanted the benefit of education and other sectors, would make the wage law with unions, because when there are wage laws, the reasons for strike are minimal”.
