The presence of Belarusian forces near the border will likely deter Ukrainian troops, so they will be unable to provide support for operations in Donba.
Despite speculation, the forces of Belarus have no direct involvement in the conflict.
However, Belarusn territory has been used as a stopover for Russia's advancement in Kiev and Chernihiv. Russia has also launched air strikes from Belarus.
Belarusn President Alexandr Lukashenko is balancing support for the Russian invasion, desiring to avoid a direct military involvement because of the danger of Western sanctions and because of the possible discontent of the Belarusian army. /Periscopi/
