The World Food Programme in Rome noted in its appeal that 98 percent of Ukraine's grain exports had moved through those ports before Russia began its conquest, writes Aljazeera, broadcast Klankosova.tv.
The UN agency says that ports south of Ukraine, which have undergone heavy promotions, must resume functioning “to protect Ukrainian agricultural production and enable exports that are critical to Ukraine's economy and global food security”.
