Human rights organisation '%Amnesty International' has said on Friday there is solid evidence that Russian troops committed war crimes, when they had occupied an area on the outskirts of Kiev in February and March, writes The Independent, Periscope is followed.
Civilians also experienced abuses such as “torised and ruthless killings” in the hands of Russian forces during their failed attack on Kiev in the first period of the occupation initiated by the Kremlin on 24 February, the group's report said.
These are not isolated incidents. These are part of a method wherever the Russian forces were in control of a city or village”, said Donatella Rowera, crisis adviser from Amnesty International. /Periscopi/.
