Albin Kurti wishes Skenderbe's birthday: Unfortunately, the freedom of the peoples is threatened again

Today we mark our national hero's birthday day, Gjergj Kastriot-Skenderbeu. It is the icon of Albanian identity, the worthy symbol of the vitality of our nation and of our desire for freedom!

The banner of our nation today proudly bears its symbolic. Skenderbe is our historical testimony to the world that freedom is the most important value of man and people. When freedom is violated, the people are thrown into a liberation war with all they have, despite the greatest power of the invaders. That's what they witnessed in the century. XX efforts by the Albanian nation for national liberation and unity, particularly the opposition to the Kosovo Liberation Army war.

Unfortunately, freedom of peoples is again threatened in the second decade of the century. XXI, at a time when aspirations for the continent's long - term peace and prosperity seemed to become a reality. Dangers to popular freedom and sovereignty are not lacking even in our region. Therefore, our memory of Skenderbe, as a defender of the freedom of his people and of the West under the conditions of the century. XV is current and inspires our state and political activity.
