Kosovo's application has not been introduced to the meeting of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers that will be held today in Turin, Italy.
The PDK deputy, who is once a member of the parliamentary Foreign Affairs Commission, Ariana Musliu Shoshi, has made this known.
The latter said that, with this, official membership procedures cannot be initiated without delay and discussion.
The next meeting, as she has said, is held on June 1st in Strasbourg.
Full post of Musliu-Sesh:
This is the result of sleeping diplomacy and no silent!
Since the day we submitted the application to the EC, I have requested clarity from the government that we will be part of the formal agenda at the meeting of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers held today in Turin, Italy!
Today it was confirmed that we are not part of the formal agenda at this meeting.
Consequently today, Kosovo's application for EC membership will not be considered! So they can't start formal procedures without question and voting.
Let's hope we'll be part of the formal agenda at the Zv meeting. Ministers held in Strasbourg on June 1, 2022!
