Prime Minister Albin Kurti has gone to America today. According to the prime minister's brief announcement, in the last paragraph, we are told that Kurti today meets representatives of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), which according to the Kompact programme, provided $200m in energy investments for Kosovo more specifically, American gas project.

More than a year ago, the Government of Kosovo through Minister Artane Rizvanolli had indicated that it would not advance the project to build gas infrastructure in Kosovo.

The rejection of such a project, by the Kosovo opposition and the economy's connoisseur, has been criticised, since essentially, the project was being rejected American gas.

On this issue, it has often been discussed in Kosovo's Parliament hearings, where in one of them the prime minister has stated that The U.S. alliance has not been fixed.

But, representatives of the project that lay down the American gas pipes will meet with Prime Minister Kurti today, according to the prime minister's announcement.

“Today will meet with representatives of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC)”, the prime minister announced.

We remember that a few days ago, work started in Greece on the construction of the terminal that will carry American gas, which Kosovo through its government has long refused. At the start of the terminal construction ceremony, Serbia's Aleksandar Vuciqi was also present.
