Weekend parties have “including” 51 working days since 2012

During the last decade (2012-2021) vacation, however, there were 43 working days.
For this holiday puts Article 4 of the Law for the Official Festival of Kosovo that has entered into force since May 23rd 2008.
When the days of official holidays mentioned in Article 2 of this law fall on Saturday or Sunday, vacation days will be the next working days”, the law says,
In addition to being laid off eight days of work in 2021, 2017, 2016 was lost in 6 days.
In 2012, 5 days. In 2020, 2019, 2018 out of four days' work days, 2013 from three days off, and 2014 with two days off on a day's work. .
The Law for Official Festivals of Kosovo, given respect for history, culture and traditions, the people of Kosovo and its citizens, includes 11 parties, reports Klan K.
Which are:
- New Year and January 2nd;
- Independence Day of the Republic of Kosovo, February 17th;
- Day of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, April 9th;
- International Labour Day, May 1;
- Europe Day, 9 May;
- Grand Bayram, first day;
- Little Bayram, first day;
- Catholic Christmas, December 25;
- Orthodox Christmas, January 7th;
- Catholic Easter, Easter Monday;
- Orthodox Easter, Easter Monday.
Besides these festivals, municipal assemblies can also establish other festivals, since it is permitted by Article 7 of this Law
“Municipal Framework can determine the days of their municipalities as well as the memorial days of municipalities in line with this law”.
