Ukraine says Russians stole Chernobyl's deadly substances

Ukraine's State Agency for Exception Zone Management, through a Facebook post, has written that Russian troops entered a research base storage area and stole 133 highly radioactive substances.
“Even a small part of this activity is deadly if treated unprofessionally”, the agency said, adding that “the location of stolen substances is currently unknown”.
The BBC has been unable to confirm this independently.
Earlier this week, Ukraine's energy minister, German Gulashchenko, said Russian soldiers were exposed to an amount of <x0-powered nuclear radiation <x0).
“They dug bare radiation-contaminated ground, collected radioactive sand in sacks for for for for for fortification, sucked this dust,” said Gulashchenko on Facebook on Friday after visiting the exclusion area.
