The new satellite images by Mexar Technologists show that troops of civilians killed in Butka have been lying on the streets for weeks, including when the village was under Russia's control, CNN writes.
In response to Buka's images Saturday, Russia's Interior Ministry had said that the video was a false and mounted. The ministry had said that the videos, photos and war crimes allegations were “another provocation”.
During the time the location was under the control of the Russian armed forces, not even a local resident has been affected by violent shares”, Russia declared.
But satellite images contradict Russia's claims: The first objects on Yablunka Street in satellite images match exactly the locations where the bodies on the street are shown in published videos. Satellite images indicate that troops on the streets of southern Bucca were there since March 18th, when Russia had control of the village. Russia had held Butka until 31 March.
