Students demand that the shots return to school

By 2015, the distribution of kiffles in schools had begun. But with the beginning of the pandemic, when most schools learned developed into a distance, the distribution of the shutters was interrupted. Students are demanding that the shots return to schools, but they require more quality and variety of food. The council [...] is looking for this.

The economic crisis that has swept the country after the emphasis on price hikes in basics, providing the marks for primary school students in Pristina's municipality, would be a contribution to families having children in school. Spit sharing is also requested by students at the School “Faik Konica” in Pristina, but they told Radio Kosovo that they want more quality and variety of food.

“We hope that we will get hit again, especially for those with conditions, not to take things from the house, but to bring them to the municipality. It's been nice being a couple of dresses, Eurocrea, cheese. We didn't eat anything before, except when they were wearing nuttles or cheeses, and they shot sometimes milk and kiblet”, they said.

Teacher Vjosa Zagrja Salihu, a teacher at the “Faik Conica”, also sees this very important and necessary. She says it is necessary to resume the distribution of the shutters, especially now when there is a price increase in food products.

With the rise of these prices going up more and more, it would be good to be given back to primary school students, but the quality should be slightly changed”, she said.

Pristina Parents' Council Chairman Jeton Demi has said it would be good for the current government in Pristina to plan much better for the shots than it was planned in the past.

“Do not have a formalisation or offering of foods that have no food value and cannot meet food needs and therefore cannot be called Shuita”, he said.

The Pristina municipality has also indicated when it will begin with the distribution of student shots. They have said the Municipal Education Directorate is in the process of reviewing and budgetary planning for specific projects, which are not included in 2022. Even this project will be under review by relevant field experts.
