On Friday afternoon there was more snowfall in central and southern Germany, especially in regions around the Alps. In the northern half of the country, low one-story temperatures and wind storms are predicted.
And on this morning, slippery roads are again possible because of snow and ice. A German Weather Service spokesman told the DPA that people in the coldest areas should drive carefully.
According to the DWD, up to three inches [10 cm] of snow can fall during the day, especially in the northeast of Baden-Wurttemberg at higher altitudes.
People in Saxony, Saxon-Anhal and Turing can also expect a winter Friday, with snowfall sometimes.
The first day of the weekend seems to bring even more snow to the south, with up to three inches [10 cm] of snow snow in higher altitudes. However, the cold season is likely to withdraw at night, with the winter wonder world becoming a little more spring during Sunday's course.
