Petkov is expected to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kiev today. He said “cannot be indifferent” since he saw closely the damage done in Borodianka during Russia's initial advance.
We can't say that this is a Ukrainian problem, we can't say that some people are dying, but we don't care about that”.
He criticised the arguments of some politicians in Bulgaria that refusing military aid to Ukraine would bring a more accelerated peace.
“If this is the price of peace, if Russia continues to attack and nobody defends -- is this the peace we want”, the Bulgarian prime minister added. / P ERISCOPI/
