Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council, has been quoted as saying that reinforcement of the military alliance on its borders with Russia is no longer the figure of speech.
Last week, he warned NATO that if Sweden and Finland join the alliance, Russia would deploy nuclear weapons and hypersonic missiles to a European exhumation.
Before beginning its conquest, Russia asked the alliance to agree to halt its growth, but war has made NATO's forces east of the continent.
