The Sarmat rocket will continue to be tested until the military surrenders, Dmitry Rogoz, leader of the Russian Space Agency, said.
“We plan to do this by autumn”, he said in a TV interview.
The rocket was tested on Wednesday north of Russia.
According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the new missile can overcome all defence systems and force them to “threaten our state to think twice”.
Sarma can travel 18,000 kilometers and can carry nuclear heads.
According to Russia, this weapon enables all targets in the world to be attacked.
The first such missiles are expected to be deployed in the Siberian region.
