The Union of Kosovo Unions has decided on May 12th to hold an hour-long strike for all employees in Kosovo.
After meeting with the unions, BSPK chairman At and Hykoli has announced that a protest will be held on May 20th.
“The BSPK has decided that in addition to opening a tunnel of social dialogue with our institutions, on May 12th, we have decided to start an hour-long strike for all Kosovo employees and protest on May 20th”, Hykoli said.
SBASAK Chairman Nundman Jasharaj has announced that following the protest strike, if they ignore their demands, the general strike will be held.
“Unions will go on general strike, paralyzing the education system and other sectors. We're giving space to dialogue, and this action will be seen on May 12th, with the hour strike and the May 20th protest I believe will be magnificent”, Jasharaj has declared.
