The ministry said the building seemed to have been hit with rocket grenades, but said no one was hurt.
This comes days after a Russian general suggested Moscow wants to take full control of southern Ukraine, giving Russia access to the separatist region of Moldova, which it supports.
He said there were <x0) impressions of the Russian-speaking population” in Transnistria, a claim which was also made without evidence ) to justify the invasion of Ukraine.
Ukraine's Defence Ministry said the incident was a planned “approval of” from Russia itself to introduce “panic and anti-Ukrainian sentiment”.
A small Russian-speaking separatist region, Transnistria borders Ukraine from the West. It claimed independence after the collapse of the Soviet Union in a bloody conflict, but is not recognised internationally and officially remains part of Moldova, the BBC broadcasts.
