According to AGKA, the report's findings should be an alarm for the country's institutions to engage in the creation of a better and safer environment of journalism.

The report also cited the journalists' attention to receiving information from the Government and public institutions.

“Gasers found it difficult to obtain information from the Government and public institutions, despite laws offering access to public documents”, the report said.

“The AGK estimates that the report's findings should be an alarm for the country's institutions that should engage in the creation of a better and safer environment of journalism.

The AGK also invites media owners to allow journalists to report without being spotted and afraid they will lose their jobs”, the response said.

By contrast, the UN report states that despite the general respect of freedom of expression, there were again attempts to intimidate media representatives from politicians, public persons, businesses and religious groups.

The report also mentions the attack on journalist Visar Duriqi, the prosecution's interview by journalist Parim Oluri, as well as the threat of Vetevendosje MP Haki Abazi to “Albian Post”.

The US Department of State quoted Kosovo Journalists' Association reports of the physical assault on Visar Duriki, the Parim Olur's interview with the report on vaccines, as well as the threat of Vetevendosje MP Haki Abazi to the “Albian Post<62> portal, as three of the most serious incidents in 2021x3>, reported in response.
