Former Health Minister Andmend Zemaj, in an interview for Online Economy, has said he has received many complaints that there has been interference by the Government for the selection of new clinic directors.
Zemaj added that this has created discontent and a climate of distrust among colleagues who have withdrawn from the race, and some have not applied at all the cause of direct policy intervention.
We have received many complaints in the selection of new directors. We have also seen media complaints in the sense of interventions that have occurred by the Board of Hospital Service, which are directly appointed by the Government, which has left the process distasteful and a climate of distrust between colleagues there who have been withdrawn from the race, and some have been eliminated”.
The “E some have not applied for these reasons by seeing that there are tendons of direct political interventions even though they may be valuable professionals, but when there is interference from the higher management, then there are conflicting situations that in the future create a distrust in clinic management, especially at regional hospitals”.
On the other hand, Zemaj stressed that within this week they will hand over the Law for Health approval to the Assembly.
We believe that within this week we will hand over the Law on Health, which is a source law and regulates the system and eliminates these defects. Then there must be the Law on Health Insurance, but also the Law on organ transplantation and other laws that are derived from the new Health Law”, he said.
