Security Service Officers The FSB successor of the KGB has left work, and some have also been arrested, reports the Daily Mail.

The desperate Russian president is looking for traitors after Western intelligence agents took up plans to fight his country before the invasion.

He is also seeking others to blame, as his military push failed to achieve a quick victory.

It turned out last night that Colonel Sergei Beseda, head of the FSB's foreign intelligence unit, has been transferred to Moscow's maximum security prison, Lefortovo, after being under house arrest.

Putin is reportedly strengthening his control over security services, the KGB's successor, as he prepares for a military push in Ukraine's Donbas region in an effort to save the campaign.

Officially, the 68-year-old spy chief is being investigated for embezzlement, but it is understood that the Kremlin is blaming him for the flows that have crippled Russia's war efforts.

The investigation is being led by Russia's military counterintelligence service, while Putin seeks to block the Western information pipeline.

Other FSB officials have also been arrested for allegedly using <x0 reports of false information in the Kremlin for the real situation in Ukraine prior to invasion”, the investigative Bellingcat website reported.

They have reportedly submitted reports that Russian obedient Putin troops would be welcomed as rescuers and that Ukrainian forces would offer little resistance.

Russia's military campaign has never been recovered from the assumptions of Kremlin planning that were so inaccurate.

The Kremlin is thought to blame elements within the FSB for the flows, which he thinks could compromise his military efforts. Security services are also blamed for many incorrect assumptions leading to victims in Ukraine, such as hosting Russian troops.

Hours before Putin's tanks entered Ukraine in late February, the British Defence Ministry published maps showing where the armoured columns were going.

Since then, intelligence officers in the United Kingdom and the US have continued to pass on accurate assessments of Russian targets to Ukrainians.

Now, with Russia facing an extremely embarrassing loss, Putin has launched a Stalinist expulsion of those he holds responsible.

In the last seven weeks, Russian forces have suffered a series of losses. They also were forced to withdraw from Kiev's circle after failing to penetrate the protection of the capital.
