He says the latter have taken courage from two operations that were conducted in the north by Kosovo Police.
I see these attacks of individuals who are involved in smuggling and organised crime but these individuals have taken courage from operations that were earlier from the Kosovo Police, one that involved reciprocity of the license plates and the second operation in the north to implement the Court's ordinance for smuggling”, Qalaj has declared, for FrontOnline.
According to him, the second case has given these individuals even greater courage, since there has been gunshots in its practice.
The second operation that has been for the implementation of the Court's Smuggling ordinance, in the area where a bunch of drugs were checked, has been followed by gun shots and handballs where several policemen were injured, and all of these have encouraged individuals and criminal groups operating in that section”, former director Qalajle has indicated.

I see more of it as an attempt to open the roads that police have justly closed, from which roads they are supplied by smuggling material from Serbia and more as individuals who are part of smuggling and organised crime”, he stated.
I, asked whether there could be destatement of the situation in the country, following these Qalaj attacks has voiced confidence that this will not happen.
I don't absolutely think, but even if there are, our institutions, the Kosovo Police have the capacity to manage, but I'm still repeating that this has to do with individuals and organized groups that are really sometimes supported by policies especially by individuals from the Serb List who are also locked up in organised crime”, the former director has declared.
Various groups in the last three days have carried out four attacks in the area.
The first attack took place by placing metal corrals on the national road, in about time feeling like today's attack, the second attack happened with stones, the third occurred last night, where two police cars were fired and hit today.
