Kosovo Democratic Party leader Blerand Stavileci's member over a media conference has criticised Kurti Government for discriminating citizens over recent decisions on determining the minimum wage and sharing of 100 euros for several categories.
Stavileci demanded that the government separate from 100 euros a month for all workers and unemployed until the introduction of the new Law of Salaries and the Law for Minimal Pogans.
Even in spite of the many difficulties Kosovo citizens are facing today, the three biggest crises in their newest history, pandemic, astronomical price expensiveity and the staggering price of elementary products for life, our governments, ironically against what they have taken their trust for, are deepening the social inequality gap precisely with citizens' taxes. Now when price inflation marked the most negative digital record to hit even more the well-being of our country's citizens, the government instead of easing this shock and gravity chose a resumption through disobedience of their demands, analysis and discrimination.”, Stavileci stressed.
The PDK considers that citizens, very rightly, are demanding that the minimum wage be higher than what the government has proposed and that the minimum wage should be higher than 300 euros.
The government will probably do that. But do they? This remains in their institutional and electoral conscience. Many categories were discriminated against. Of those who at 11 euros and 10 cents a month or 37 cents a day cannot buy a kilo of bread a day to unemployed people who, in large numbers, do not even get that 37 cents. Unfortunately for these citizens and unemployed, the government is in the flagrant deflation of vision, ideas, plans and projects with which these important categories would benefit throughout the year, and not just for a single month, and also for disproportionate and insufficient value. ”, Stavileci said.
Stavileci said that with these decisions the government once again testified that they decided on ad-hoc formulas, with many inconsistent variables, but with only one constant: DISCRIPTURE OF MANY CATEGORIS AND PAPUE.
So instead of merit support, they chose charity. Instead of helping the unemployed, they chose to discriminate and forget. Instead of social equality, they chose the deepening social inequality gap. And when themselves have been trapped by its false promises, the least they can do is to keep all workers away from 100 euros to the introduction of the new wage and law law law for minimum wage in the country.”, he added. / P ERISCOPI/
