MP The PDK, Hajdar Beqa, tells Kosovo that they will also insist through the Parliament to adopt the bill that allows the withdrawal of RRUST.
I see more of it as Prime Minister Kurti's cavira, in harmony with the lack of vision. We've proposed, when we're seeing that the government has no idea how to get out of this situation, then we've proposed that our citizens be allowed to pull Trust funds into a certain amount. I think that for this situation, getting out of the crisis, it's been a good idea and it has to be backed up by the majority”, Beqa claims.
The opposition MP calls for the Energy Regulatory Office to implement the Constitutional Court's decision, which decided to suspend new energy tariffs and compensate citizens for tariffs they have paid from February 9th at a higher price.
“is the victory of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, The PDK has done its job. In this cause we have set up very early, Chairman Krasniqi has warned in the first months of autumn that the government will receive a mobilization for expensive electricity and we have found that these did not know how to manage this situation. As far as tariffs are concerned, I ask the ERE to respect this decision and give citizens what they belong to”, he says.
Beqa also voiced criticism of Kosovo government foreign policy.
I regret to say that we have no foreign policy. Even today, the government does not have an agenda for foreign policy. We saw that Minister Gervala also received their phone calls as a success during the debate. We've seen that no one's expected, they've still had high levels in the United States, we've seen several regional bilateral meetings. More have been filling that Foreign Ministry work report with meetings they have made among themselves than with any success they have brought to Kosovo. In these 12 months we have no recognition and no application and attempt to apply to international organisations”, he adds.
Meanwhile, it raises several questions for Prime Minister Kurti regarding dialogue with Serbia.
