Senior PDK officials have come up today at a conference to talk about what, according to them, is a “super near” of the Ministry of Infrastructure.
They have also distributed to the media the list of contracts in which The PDK claims that abuses have been made. These contracts have been declared Deputy Minister Durmish.
He says these are annexes-contacts, designed by law, for additional tasks.
These are all annexes-contacts, which are legally defined, are annexes-contrasts for additional tasks. So we've only concluded a negotiated contract at the Ministry of Infrastructure last year. Most of them are old contracts -- past that have been required for additional jobs that have gone through all the procedures, but it's only left unsigned”, Durmish told Calxo.com.
The chief of the Democratic Party of Kosovo Parliamentary Group, Abelard Tahiri, has accused the Ministry of Infrastructure of signing 42 single-source contracts, whose value totals over ninem euros.
Saying that signing such contracts has never occurred before, Tahiri at a news conference Monday has asked the prosecution to launch investigations into these contracts.
The Minister of Infrastructure led by Mr. (Liburn) Aliu and Mr. Durmish has signed 42 single-source contracts, the value of which totals over 9m euros. The signing of this number of single-source contracts, without competition, negotiatedly, has never happened before. This is a case for the Kosovo Prosecution because it is spent around 9m euros, or 10 percent of this ministry's budget to go to work unpredictable, it is unacceptable and we ask the prosecution to investigate on these” contracts, he said.
At the conference, PDK deputy Eliza Hoxha was present, under which these violations of the Public Procurement Law “are argued”.
