Russian state television, which is the main source of Kremlin propaganda, said the Third World War has already begun following the shipwreck of the Mokva ship, writes Metro, records Periscopi.

While Russian officials have rejected Ukraine's claims that battleship was hit with rockets, Russian television said Ukraine sank the ship, demanding a disastrous response.

Olga Skabeyeva, who cures Putin's propaganda, told viewers that western support for Ukraine is leading to a direct conflict with Russia. What went through here could be called World War III. That's all of course”, she said.

The Russian journalist also said Russia is struggling against NATO infrastructure, if not against NATO itself.

The ammunition aboard the Moskva board exploded after a fire, according to the Russian Defence Ministry. The ministry said that the cause of the fire is not yet known, writes BBC, traces Periscopi.

Ukraine says it has hit the ship with two Neptune missiles. The 510-member battleship has led Russia's naval attacks against Ukraine, becoming an important symbol and a military target.

Growth of Morality for Ukraine

This is a significant blow to Russia's war efforts, both for military and moral reasons.

Moscow is an old ship since the Soviet period, but has become the main ship in the Russian Black Sea fleet since 2000.

The 12,500 - ton ship has been part of the Russian fleet at sea and has been a threat to the Ukrainian port of Odessa.

Any reason that caused the major fire- with Ukraine saying it was destroyed by two rockets thrown by its forces -- the destruction of powerful Moscow would look like a poetic justice in Ukraine.

In more practical terms, this incident seems to result in Russian warships moving further to the open sea because of their security.

How important is Moscow?

Built in the Soviet era, the ship was serviced in the 1980s, according to Russian media.

The destruction of the missiles was previously deployed by Moscow in the Syria conflict, where it supplied Russian forces to the country with maritime protection.

Moscow is the second largest Russian ship to have been severely damaged since the start of the invasion on February 24th.
