Naim Halolli, the survivor of the massacre in Old Chikatova, tells of Kosova Prees how Serbian police in the early hours of the morning have massacred 23 members of Morina neighbourhood, mainly men, children and elders.
Halolli has indicated that institutions are not continuing to clear the case and arrest Serb criminals.
I am the very case that I have been present in this massacre, this savage torture of the Serb, men, children, the elderly are all here... I've experienced this war case is a very serious case and I don't know how our institutions can not arrest the Serb criminals who have committed these great crimes. It's an inexorable crime and I'm thrilled when I'm here... the kids slaughtered them when they came in at six o'clock in the morning, I don't want to remind you of this case”, Hasholli said.
He also added that he is willing to go to The Hague as well to testify to the innocence of his fellow fighters.
I went to The Hague too, I had days to tell you about this case... They're going to take our innocents and put them there. These must first imprison Serbs who have made these massacres”, he said.
Hakki Morina says that the 17 April bastard in the Morina district is a great tragedy for the entire village.
“Today is the most tragic day for our village, the day of April 17 has taken place a terrible bastard right in the Morina district, the 17th day Saturday was when 23 of our family members were massacred”, he said.
Morina accuses Serbia of wiping out corpses in order to hide their crimes. He said that by 2015 they were unaware of their corpses.
Serbia has done the execution, with the thought of eliminating war crimes. They even took the corpses and disappeared by 2015. We didn't even know about their corpses... We knew they were massacred and shot. We fellow fighters have buried them in crime sites after a while exhumed them and sent them to Batanica in Serbia, tried to hide the bodies and crimes they did in our village”, Morina said.
While he for Kosovo has said that fellow fighters are being tried without guilt.
Our leaders and rescuers are tried, while Serb criminals are free and the Kosovo oath is Serb, while our deliverers are punished for protecting their country. This is terrible for us”, he said.
Otherwise, today, 23 years have been filled by the massacre in the village of Poklek the Old and Cikotova municipality of Drenas, where the Serbian Army has massacred and killed them, then burned the bodies of 77 unarmed civilians, ranging from six months old to 75-year-olds.
There they had children, young men and old men who were killed, slaughtered, and some burned. Even after two decades, none of the commanding officers and executions were punished by justice.
