In this regard, Iron Murati, minister of finance, Labour and Transfers on the <x0 show RTK Prime” said this Government has promised that the minimum wage will be 250 euros net, 264 euros gross for 40 hours, or 1.5 euros per hour, and this is being done after 11 years that there has been no minimum wage increase.
The “won't happen to repeat this, but the minimum wage will increase according to economic growth, there will be follow-up, this increase this time is over 50 percent. However, trade unions are not agreeing to that, their opposition is irrational and more are pro-political requirements, trade unions are thus blocking the growth of the minimum wage”, Murati said.
Murati also said, the government has approved the tax change rate, which envisions all wages not to be taxed at the first 250-euros.
