According to the Russian agency TASS, Periscope has been tracked down, and another 20 have been wounded by fire.
TASS writes that the fire has fallen because of a malfunction in electrical installations. This is a Russian institution for development of new air defence systems.
Firefighters have received an announcement of fire around 11 o'clock local time. 30 people have sought medical help - some because of the inhalation of smoke - others because of minor injuries.
Some people are reportedly injured jumping out of windows to escape fire.
“The total area affected by fire is about 1,000 square metres”, the Russian emergency service said.
The fire quickly spread through the building and swept through several floors. The thick smoke also spread to the center of Tvere.
