Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has reacted following attacks on the Kosovo Police in the country's north, which allegedly came from Serbia's territory.
After Kurti paid tribute to September of former KLA commander Zahir Paaziti, he told reporters that the attacks aimed at killing Kosovo Police members.
We have strongly condemned this attack, which was a terrorist attack since bullets and grenades were fired by police members who were fortunate to suffer only material damage. It is up to the law's bodies to investigate those who attacked to whiteen the case, but on the other hand, to assess the security situation as to what to take next so that we can't afford such attacks. These are not attacks on material goods, not on citizens, but on police officers who have intended to kill. But fortunately we haven't had any human damage, and no member of the KP has been hurt. Order bodies will make investigations into our steps ahead. With the illegal structures of Serbia and organised crime there will be no gram of tolerance from the Government of Kosovo, police etc.”, Kurti said.
Kosovo police have been attacked by hand grenades, Kalashnikov and pyrotechnic vehicles in the country's north.
The first blow was with metal stings on the road.
And police are suspicious that these vehicles have been dumped from Serbia's territory.
Besides material damage, no wounded police official was reported.
