The country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, says the Kosovo government is committed to creating the most competitive conditions in the region for foreign direct investment, as well as to co-ordinate the education system's offer with labour market needs.
Kurti invites and welcomes all people of successful business in the countries that, together with their international partners, invest in Kosovo, with priority in producing export-oriented products and services.
He and Prime Minister Luan Dalipi's chief of staff met the successful Kosovo businessman in Germany, Burim Hazrolli, along with Germany's deputy ambassador to Kosovo, Jan-Axel Voss. According to a Government report, this businessman's company deals among other things with products production and services in the construction sector, as well as with real estate management in Germany and Kosovo.
Hazrolli employs about 40 workers in his factory for the production of doors and windows in Kosovo and over 90% of products from this factory are exported to Germany. He has vision and concrete plans to bring new investments to Kosovo, to serve the German, local and wider market.
