Israeli minister: We Are Ready to Invest in Kosovo

After the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kosovo and Israel, co-operation between the two countries has begun in many areas. Investment by the state of Israel in Kosovo has been cited by Israeli Minister for Regional Co-operation Esawi Frey, during a joint conference with Local Power Management Minister Elbert Krasniqi. Frey said that even behavior [...]
Frey said that even bringing Israel's ambassador to Kosovo testifies to the friendship this state has with Kosovo, with which it said there are countries in the Western Balkans that Israel has ambassadors.
“is the first visit by an Israeli minister to Kosovo, and this visit will address many things. The people of Israel have the pleasure of investing here. We'll find out where we'll put our investments. Kosovo is important and that's why we have ambassadors here. Not all Balkan states have ambassadors, and Israel has ambassadors to 80 states. In most Balkan states, there are no Israeli ambassadors, but we have them in Kosovo. I'm sure that as we build our economic ties when trade grows, it will be the greatest need for an embassy. First we have an ambassador when we strengthen our economic reports the embassy will open but time is needed, said Minister Frey.
On the other hand, Frey considers it an honor and a historic moment, just on the one-year anniversary of establishing bilateral relations.
Believe me, it's impressive. I come here on behalf of the state of Israel to tell the people of Kosovo that we are open to co-operation. We want to advance relations and empower them. We have a lot in common. We divide values and we love democracy. We are promoting coexistence for our society. We understand the struggle for independence. We're both small countries with rich human capital. I'm on my first visit, and it's just the beginning”, Frey said.
And Minister of Government Management Elbert Krasniqi said the visits will also be to Kosovo municipalities.
“is an Israeli minister's first visit after Israel's recognition. We will have visits to other cities for monuments and cultural heritage. After the meeting, there will be meetings with Prime Minister Kurti and Foreign Affairs Minister Gervala, while tomorrow with mayors. We will be visiting the pediatric hospital and visiting the “Handikos” centre that will be handed over carts for children. We are deepening our co-operation”, Krasniqi said.
