The deputy leaders of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Uran Ismaili and Vlora Citaku, have denounced Kosovo Ambassador to Croatia Martin Berishaj today near “Ismaili Bridge has said that this link relates to the tops of institutions and the ruling party, so it has called for detailed parliamentary investigation of this [...]
Uran Ismaili has said that this link relates to the tops of institutions and the ruling party, so it has called for detailed parliamentary investigation into the issue.
“Today, we are here to raise our voices in the name of our citizens and condemn the vicinity of the “Cartel of Stream”, which has now penetrated the highest left of institutions and the ruling party. We have had a continuous request to establish an investigative parliamentary commission, which would investigate the process of spending 100m euros dedicated to buying electricity. This constitutional right of MPs obstructed by Prime Minister Kurti and his associates is intended to keep electricity trading contracts out of light, because, thus, the flow of money would be discovered, as well as the potential links of Kartel of Stream with associates of Prime Minister Kurti”, Ismaili has said.
Ismaili has said that Serbia's company's numerous financial reports from the money of 100 million, which are only the beginning of a deep corrupt bunker, where millions of euros of citizens have been distributed in transactions with Serbian companies, and for the worse, there are serious doubts about transactions even with Russian companies.
“Therefore, a parliamentary investigation involving MPs of office and opposition is now national interest. The parliamentary commission, comprised of experts and members of civil society, where we would jointly investigate where, as well as whom these millions of euros of our taxes were given.”, the deputy chairman of the company said. PDK, Ismaili.
The findings show that in January of this year, KEK reportedly sold electricity to the GEN-I Company at the price of only 105 euros for megawatts. In the same period, KEK has bought electricity from the Belgrade-based company at a price of 255 euros for a megawatt.
So Kosovo has bought expensive, and Belgrade has sold them cheaply. What is now known is that during December and January, for two months, electricity has been purchased worth 4.2m euros from the GEN-I company with headquarters in Serbia, and from the evidence that has been whiteened by Slovenian media shows the link that Martin Berisha has been paid about 600 thousand euros from this company.”, he has further said.
Kosovo's politically appointed ambassador, Martin Berisha, has kept the company a secret in question. The same one has not stated it in the form of a statement of wealth.
Therefore, according to the PDK deputy chairman, the level of expansion, which included many institutions -- from the Kosovo Embassy in Croatia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy to the cup of the entire network: The prime minister and president of the Republic of Kosovo.
There is no clear answer from Prime Minister Kurti but President Osmani, is it or has Martin Berisha been paid by GEN-I? Is it true that Ambassador Berisha had a contract with the GEN-I company? Has the prosecution begun investigating the payments presented on Slovenian media that amount to 600 thousand euros?
In the end, Ismaili has said that all of this helps us to understand the situation and show why the price of electricity has been raised.
