Iron Murati speaks to senior US Treasury official for economic growth in Kosovo: 10.55%

Minister Iron Murati met in America, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the American Treasury, Mr. Larry McDonald. According to the announcement, Minister Murati told him about economic growth in Kosovo and successful management of the pandemic.

I had the honor and pleasure of meeting Larry McDonald, Z. Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury Department.

During the meeting, I announced the successful management of the pandemic in Kosovo and the measures undertaken for the country's economic revival, which have resulted in economic growth of 10.55%.

McDonald praised us for our work and achievements so far, pointing to Diaspora Bonot as a good opportunity for investment orientation from exile to development projects.

During the meeting, Mr. McDonald also reported on our plans to build capacity within the reforms we're facing as governments, which we need the support of our partners and friends.

The meeting ended with discussions of deepening co-operation and a visit to the Treasury Chamber, which had once served as space where citizens could physically come to buy treasury bonds.
