Hoxhaj, through a writing on the social network Titter, has said Russia's suspension from this body is the world's message to the Kremlin, adding that war criminals have no place in UN bodies aimed at protecting human rights.
Russia's “Suspending from the Council of Human Rights from the UN General Assembly is the world's message to the Kremlin. War criminals have no place in UN bodies aimed at protecting human rights.”, Hoxhaj wrote.
The United Nations General Assembly approved Russia's suspension of the Human Rights Council during a vote in New York today.
Russia was suspended due to reports of <x0-scalption and serious and systematic human rights abuse” by the Russian Army in Ukraine.
