A governor claims Ukraine has hit an oil depot in Russia

Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov has said that two Ukrainian military helicopters have hit an oil depot on April 1st in the Russian town of Belgorod, which is located about 25km on the Ukrainian border. If confirmed, this would be the first attack by Ukraine on Russian soil since Moscow began its conquest of this neighbouring country on February 24th.
Gladkov said on the Telegram platform that helicopters hit the object after crossing the border.
According to him, two workers were injured in the alleged attack.
However, Russian oil company Rosneft, which owns the oil depot, has said in a separate statement that no one has been injured as a result of the fire.
No information has been provided in the statement.
In some images reportedly disseminate the attack, they are viewed as missiles that are launched before the explosion.
The Ukrainian Defence Ministry has not yet commented on this. /rel
