AAK Parliamentary Group chief Besnik Tahiri is the first of the MPs to have reacted following the Government's refusal to withdraw 30 per cent of the Trust's means.

Tahiri said that the AAK will do its best to enable the withdrawal of 30 per cent of the Trust vehicles, adding that the government by not supporting this initiative is making a mistake.

“Even a Government error! The Kosovo government has been lost and changed to the garment of power, while citizens' concerns and demands are addressed only in the election campaign. The government is very wrong that it does not support the legislative initiative of the Republic of Kosovo for fulfilling and changing the Law for the Pension Fund of Kosovo.

As a Parliamentary Group, we will do our best to enable the withdrawal of 30 percent of the means from the Trust”, Tahiri said.

On the other hand, he said that the rejection of citizens at these times, when there are major economic shocks, shows that the country has a government-free government.

The withdrawal of savings from the trust, especially at a time when the country is involved in the economic crisis, is very much needed for the flames of Kosovo economy and families. So, all resources should be used, all options using the Trust in this case, to help citizens”, Tahiri said.

Otherwise, the Kosovo government has been declared against withdrawing money from the Kosovo Pension Trust. Through a statement to the media, the executive argues that such an act would help categories in need due to the low percentage of the pension fund.
