Targeting the latest sanctions was the commercial bank “Transcapalbank”, as well as a global network consisting of 40 individuals and entities. According to CNN, sanctions hit 635 Russian citizens who could not obtain an American visa.
Germany has recently announced it will cut off its oil supply from Russia within this year, calming many of its partner countries who had accused it of not doing enough to help Ukraine.
Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock declared with full conviction that without a doubt, Germany is completely eliminating the import of Russian energy.
Berlin will halve its dependence on Russian oil within summer and will carry the figures to zero by the end of the year. /A2 CNN
