The report has enumerated the government's intervention in editorial media policies, especially on Kosovo Radio Television, by politics and business groups.
“The constitution guarantees freedom of the press and a range of media operate in Kosovo, including Kosovo Radio Television. However, the government and business interests exert unnecessary influence on editorial lines, including RTK at”, the report said.
The report has also praised harassment for journalists.
“Gasers report frequent harassment and threats; some journalists were attacked in 2021 as they reported north of Kosovo”, said further in the report.
