A powerful earthquake rocked the Balkans last night. The quake's epicentre has been in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the power of the earthquake, according to w.emsc-csem.org, has been marked by 5.7 of Riterre.
The quake has also been felt in Croatia, Macedonia, Albania and Serbia.
This earthquake recorded the first victim last night.
According to the clix.ba portals and avaz.ba, it's about a girl from Stolac, whose house a stone fell.
Her family confirmed that the girl died in 1994.
Initially she was transferred to Mostar Hospital, but doctors only ascertained her death.
The earthquake also reports that large numbers of people have been injured.
Health Centre Director in Stolac, Casimir Raguz, spoke of Bosnian media last night about the condition of the injured.
This earthquake was near Stolac, so the city is the hardest hit.
As reported, unfortunately a girl lost her life, after a stone fell into a house.
Raguz said there are no more seriously injured Stolac citizens except for this case.
“Tonight, around 23 p.m., there was a massive earthquake. Some of the injured showed up at our center. One person has been seriously injured and we have transported him to Mostar Hospital, and others have had the slightest injuries”, Raguz said.
He didn't give much detail to the injured girl, but her family earlier confirmed to clix.ba that she was unfortunately dead.

Three smaller earthquakes have been recorded following the major earthquake in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
