China denies it has deliberately bypassed sanctions against Russia

A senior Chinese diplomat has dismissed that his country is working on sanctions against Russia, a day after EU leaders warned China to do so. But Western countries have voiced concerns about Beijing's reluctance to condemn Russia's conquest and fear Beijing may provide support to Russia to reduce the impact of sanctions.
On Friday, European Commission chief Ursual von der Leeyen warned that the business sector in Europe was closely monitoring China's actions.
